A series of special events througout the city are prepared to include:
Spectacular Opening Concert Extravaganza 'Celebrating Ibero-American Music and Culture'. Introducing the members of the Jury & Contestants.
24 pianists from all around the world will perform a 45-minute Recital, to include works by Ibero American composers.
Solo recitals in Phase 1 to include mandatory works by Ginastera, Villa-Lobos, Granados and Albéniz. Semifinalists on Phase 2 will have the opportunity to play a Piano Quintet with a world-class String Quartet. Not to be missed!
Three (3) finalists will be playing a piano concerto with the Teresa Carreño Competition Symphony Orchestra.
The Competition will be live streamed via Facebook.
